Fedora Core 7 Future Artwork
This page is intended to get more ideas about the Artwork for Fedora Core 7 after the release of Fedora Core 6.
List of ideas
- Echo development icons is set to be the default. Pending https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=212256
- New wallpaper, login screen derived from Mola/Mizmo ideas that needs to match Echo theme
- Window decoration that departed from most of current version.
- Legacy artwork from Fedora Core 4 to Fedora Core 6 should be added on the packages. Release number should be dropped.
- Bluecurve should be moved to Extras repository once Echo theme is finalized.
- Take advantage of the Cairo engine for the GTK engine.
- Getting different desktop enviromnent users to intensively test Echo icons, adapt the the overall theme for their favorite DE.
- Enhance the some application layout like Anaconda, Pirut to name a few. Usability project was created on that purpose so we will assist that project.
- Create a new sound theme for future Fedora Core (that aims to fedora-music-list).
