| == Introduction ==

| |
| My name is Christian Bryant, a GNU/Linux engineer specializing in software configuration management for collaborative, distributed GNU technologies. While I use many FLOSS applications in my professional environment the applications I tend to use the most on a personal level are listed below in alphabetical order. Indicative of my focus as a GNU/Linux engineer, they are the core tools used to write, build, debug, test and release GNU software packages and custom GNU/Linux OS. Any additional software I use in my daily activities is likely to be part of a standard [http://www.kde.org KDE] or [http://www.gnome.org GNOME] desktop release on any major GNU/Linux distribution. [http://fedoraproject.org/ Fedora] with [http://www.gnome.org GNOME] is my default desktop environment for development, build, test and release activities.

| === Fedora Contributions ===
| |
|
| |
| A member of the Support Gang at [http://laptop.org One Laptop Per Child], I joined the [http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/OLPC Fedora OLPC Special Interest Group] as my contribution platform. I work with [http://sugarlabs.org Sugar] on a Fedora spin I regularly use for demonstration of the OLPC XO OS to folks who've not seen the system before. My personal goal is to create fresh Fedora spins for use in my OLPC activities that other OLPC contributors can use to demonstrate XO functionality at the OS level without having an XO on hand. At [http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale9x/ SCaLE9x] I used such a spin running in VirtualBox on Fedora 14 for demonstration purposes while manning the booth, making sure to note Fedora was at the core of both my development system and the Sugar spin. More information can be found at my [http://wiki.laptop.org/go/User:Christianabryant OLPC wiki page].

| I regularly sign and encrypt emails and files, generally source code and other development related configuration items. If you wish to read signed and encrypted emails from me, or confirm that development files are from my development environment, you may do so by using my [http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0x8B2F0A9F418C1BBA public GPG key].
