== Events that have funding ==

'''This list was generated based on the contents of the [[FedoraEvents]] page on August 1 @ 11:00 UTC.'''

In order to qualify for funding, the event needed to be listed on the page, with an event owner, prior to the deadline.

This process was discussed [http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-ambassadors-list/2008-July/msg00152.html on July 10] and again [http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-ambassadors-list/2008-July/msg00255.html on July 23].

The total FAMSCo budget for Q3 is $16,000.  Additionally, there is a Red Hat Community Architecture travel budget of $4,000We try to separate these costs as much as possible, so that event owners do not have to worry about Red Hat travel costs when making their plans.

''When in doubt about what your budget must cover, ask!''

''Keep in mind that there is no separate budget for swag.  It is the responsibility of event owners to handle that out of their event budgets, or to pool budgets together within a region for better efficiency.''

Where does FAmSCo's budget come from?
The FAmSCo budget rolls up into the larger Community Architecture expenses. On that page, FAmSCo's budget is represented by the "Regional support" line item.
