Elections within Fedora usually take place twice a year, just before a version release. These elections are for the Council, FESCo, and FamSCo. These elections will be announced in the following manner:
Announcement Procedure
- Approximately one week prior to the elections the FPL will make an announcement, on the Announce List, that the elections will begin in a week.
- At the start of the election the FPL will make an announcement, on the Announce List, that the elections has begun.
- With two days left in the election the FPL will make an announcement, on the Announce List, that the elections will end in forty-eight hours.
