The following elections take place from December 2016 to January 2017:

The elected positions cover Fedora's subprojects not under the engineering or outreach banners (Documentation, Translation, etc.), and the community at large. One specific responsibility is to represent the voice of individual contributors to the Fedora project. Each representative will also work on specific goals which she or he brings to the Council as highlighted during the election process.

Council Elections December 2016

Elections are held twice a year, in concert with the joint Fedora election cycle. One seat is selected at each election, and each position has a two-election (approximately one year) term. No person who currently holds another Council seat can be elected.

The following Council members finish their terms, and the seats are up for re-election:



Eligible Voters
Voting eligibility is determined by a community member's Fedora Account System (FAS) memberships.
To vote for the Council you must have cla_done in FAS.

Candidate Nominations

Please nominate just by Name, IRC nick and FAS account ID. A set of questions for candidates is being prepared, and the resulting introductions will be published in Community Blog,during the "Campaign" period.

You may self-nominate. If you wish to nominate someone else, please consult with that person ahead of time.
