I have been an active member of the local Linux Users Group [https://cqlug.linux.org.au/] since 2008 and it was at that time I started to use Linux as my main personal desktop OS. I first saw and used Linux in 2001 with Red Hat 6.2 and then Fedora Core 4. I have played with many distributions over the years but Fedora has provided me with a platform that is very up to date yet stable and easy to maintain. It just doesn't get in the way and give me more time to play and tinker! | |||
I'd love to get involved in as many aspects of Fedora and it's promotion/development as my time will allow, and I think being an ambassador would be a great first step because I love using Fedora and think other people will too. | |||

Activities within Fedora
- I'd like to become an ambassador for Fedora locally (Australia) and work toward package maintaining and development work as well.
I have been an active member of the local Linux Users Group [2] since 2008 and it was at that time I started to use Linux as my main personal desktop OS. I first saw and used Linux in 2001 with Red Hat 6.2 and then Fedora Core 4. I have played with many distributions over the years but Fedora has provided me with a platform that is very up to date yet stable and easy to maintain. It just doesn't get in the way and give me more time to play and tinker!
