Description
This test case covers the Installation and Removal of Software features of GNOME Software.
Setup
- Ensure that GNOME Software is installed, and launch it.
How to test
- Try to search and install your favourite application
- Try to list your application using the search
- Ensure the application must have a "tick" sign, if they are locally installed
- Click on the app icon and click the trash icon
Expected Results
- You should be able to search for, and install it correctly.
- Software listings should render correctly and results should be valid.
- You should be able to query the local software DB with rpm -qa <package_name> and Gnome software
- Results of the above step shouldn't be inconsistent
- Rebooting the system should work fine
