The following sections provide a brief overview of major changes from the last release of Fedora. The following are major features for Fedora 14:
systemd - A replacement system and session manager offering aggressive parallelization capabilities and administrative capabilities.
Meego Netbook UX - Meego Architecture is designed to support platforms such as netbooks, nettops, and various embedded devices.
Amazon EC2 - For the first time since Fedora 8, Fedora will release on the EC2 cloud
Some other features include:
Updating Perl to 5.12, Python to 2.7, Boost to 1.44, Netbeans to 6.9, KDE to 4.5, Eclipse to the Helios Release.
