LanguageTool is an Open Source style and grammar checker for English, French, German, Polish, Dutch, Romanian, and other languages. Written in Java, it is available as a standalone command-line executable as well as an OpenOffice.org plugin. It is probably one of the only free grammar checker available for Linux that supports a consequent number of languages.

Dependencies

In its last version, LanguageTool embeds in its source some JAR dependencies listed here. The dependencies not available in Fedora must me packaged to integrate LanguageTool.
