Brian LaMere is a long-time Linux junkie | Brian LaMere is a long-time Linux junkie and born-again Fedora user/advocate. His work experience has generally been in "information assurance" - high availability, security, etc. He's served as a named SYSIAO (Systems Information Assurance Officer) for a DoD contractor, and has reworked/designed the infrastructure of several companies to meet FDA, HIPAA, and PCI compliance controls for the services they provide. He's currently working for a SaaS provider designing a framework for rapid deployment PCI-compliant e-commerce websites. | ||
He lives in San Diego where he is active in animal welfare organizations, and has just started going back to school. He's married, has two furry kids (Isis the cat, Summer the dog), and can be reached at his username AT yahoo or gmail. |
