Abstract

Fedora's Electronic Laboratory provides a complete electronic laboratory setup with reliable open source design tools in order to meet one's requirements to keep one in pace with current technological race.

It provides tools for Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC)design flow process, and open source standard cells for a feature size of 0.13 um. It also includes circuit simulation, microcontrollers programming, hardware developement, and embedded system developement tools. Interoperability between packages is provided, to achieve different design flows.

What can you customize in Fedora? How can you do that? What can you do to shape Fedora the way you need to? How can you make these things work for you?

Abstract

Fedora is more then this set of discs that is released with a certain set of packages, but how do you make use of the extra abilities? Customization considers consideration spanning kickstart, package selection, making those appear in the group/package selection dialog, dependency resolving, installation automation for deployment, and other customizations. In this session, an in-depth introduction is on these various topics will be discussed, how they interact with one another and how you can make it work for your particular demands.
