Infra Services Integration

Fedora Infra services organising and integration

Target/Purpose:

  • In short: FEDORA DEVELOPER NETWORK
  • Mainly the idea is to hold together, and make it accessible all of our app as infra service to groups, kinda XAAS.

The Gnome shell would provide one side of the integrated services, and the other part ideally would be by Owncloud modules.

Current situation:

  • Basically the infra is overgrown the original infra service avabilities, and this new one with new technologies, trying to fill the gap.

People are overburden with tons of mailing lists, tickets - without direct followable communication

Owncoud

Benefits

  • MORE COLLABORATIVE ACCESS TO EVERYONE VIA OWNCLOUD SOLUTIONS
  • Easy start and join via Gnome Shell online accounts in new installs
  • Direct access to repos, resources (templates, docs, and so on) - (possibility: new subprojects via Pagure (Hub as Fedora Hosted, just needs a viewer) - think over here as our own kinda Sourceforge for devs

Much more seamless workflow

Gnome

  • Fedmesg integration (kinda our Own twitter client) => Reminders, link shares
  • Fedora Clipboard - Fpaste
  • Many online services that is can be added to Gnome shell online accounts

IRC Integration

Make bridge from Telegram to IRC

  • TeleIRC
    • Lower the entry bar for communication
    • Security review needed
