We mourn the loss of Gabriele Trombini
Gabriele Trombini mailgapassed away on 15 September 2020.
Gabriele was a long-time contributor to several teams of Fedora, mainly Ambassadors, Marketing and the Join SIG. For many years he also was the driving force behind the local Italian Fedora Community Fedora Online. His passion and experience also were useful when he co-authored with Robert Mayr (robyduck) a book about Fedora 9.
Gabriele was a kind a patient mentor to many contributors and beginners, most of them will remember him forever. Finally Gabriele was an influential member in shaping what Mindshare is today, without his ideas and ability to involve most of the key contributors Mindshare probably would never have been created.

- It's so many years ago I asked you to help me with the local community, Gabriele, but soon you became the real creator of many things we did, from a book about Fedora 9 to periodical guides people could download in PDF format. You also were the reason why I started contributing to the Fedora community, the websites and Ambassador group are only two examples. We made so many friends together and helped dozens of people to start contributing. You always have been the driving force, I will miss you so much Gabri, but I thank God I had the privilege to meet you and also your family. Robert (robyduck)
