Description
This test case checks whether Xfce runs correctly when a system with Xfce installed is upgraded from Fedora 10 to Fedora 11.
How to test
- Install Fedora 10 (any install method is OK)
- Install Xfce: yum install @XFCE
- Ensure you can log in to and use Xfce as expected
- Optional: use Xfce a bit - change some settings, customize it to your liking
- Upgrade the system to Rawhide: enable the Rawhide repositories and run yum upgrade or, if necessary, yum upgrade --skip-broken
- Reboot, and attempt to log in to Xfce
- Check if Xfce works with no error or warning messages, and any changes or customizations you made are preserved
Expected Results
- During Rawhide upgrade, no errors, warnings or problems should be caused by Xfce packages
- You should be able to log in to Xfce on the upgraded system with no errors, warnings or problems
- All customizations and configuration changes you made before upgrading should be preserved
