Fedora Rewards

Fedora Rewards is the developing program whereby contributors can be nominated to be awarded Fedora merchandise like hats, t-shirts, etc.

Nominations can be sent to --. Distribution works via nominations from project leaders and contributors with final determination made by the Fedora Rewards team.

Guidelines

  • Please provide all information possible about a nominee. Include their full name, email address, the nature of the contribution, etc. We can do a little research, but a reference like "that guy who sometimes is on the list and he's really cool, but I don't know his name or even have an inclination as to how to refer to him" is unlikely to result in fulfillment.
  • Self-nominations are unlikely to result in fulfillment.
  • Nominations should be for Fedora contributions. Nominating people who have contributed to the general cause of Open Source or Free (as in freedom) software is unlikely to result in fulfillment. Examples of people who not to nominate include Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman, Eric Raymond, you get the picture.
  • Nominating fifty people at once won't reduce the likelihood of fulfillment, but may cause it to be delayed slightly.
