| These are more and less than the [[F7ReleaseSummary| release summary]] . The release summary is a long list of everything one might want to know at a glance. In contrast, the talking points are a list of items we want to be sure are discussed as specific highlights of the release or the project in general.

| The goal is to give enough information to write two or three short paragraphs. These are followed by all the torrent information, etc.

| Talking point selection works like this:

| * Only the top three talking points are required, fit in as many as you can
| |
| * We can go up to five required, if they are short, sweet, and good
| |
| * Anything beyond that is too long, but judge yourself in your announcement

| * We'll add points and move the order around until a good set arrives
