At least you may get reply from others and you may be able to convince others about your idea.
Submit Idea
You can start doing it as soon as you have completed your profile. If you have any collaboration idea, then post your idea to let others know about your plans and comment on the feasibility of your idea.
Projects
If community thinks that your idea is feasible to execute and if you become successful to gather a few people to collaborate with you, start a collaborative project. Describe your project and state the Time duration of project. Also decide parameters for calling it a successful project.
Work on your project
Start working on your project and frequently release updates about your project at your project description page. Upon successful completion of project list it on the list of successful projects. We recommend you to release your project under GPL v3.
Continue to contribute
A successful projcet is not the end of the road. Rather it is just the beginning. Now people will start seriously using it, start reporting bugs, suggesting changes. Please do not stop the development work. Continue to contribute and collaborate.
