Description
This test case is to check that fonts/rendering are correctly displayed and translated in applications, which should be able to 'speak' foreign languages (English is the mother tongue here).
How to test
- First, be sure you have
system-config-language
installed:yum install system-config-language
- Next, start
system-config-language
by selecting System -> Administration -> Language from the desktop menu. - Choose a language and select OK
- Reboot your system
- Run an application which is supposed to be in that language.
- Check the fonts/rendering/characters in the applications such as output, prompts, menu items and window contents.(GUI)
Expected Results
- System reboot successfully to the selected language.
- Characters/Rendering are displayed properly in the application.
