Associated release criterion
This test case is associated with the Fedora_42_MILESTONE_Release_Criteria#CRITERION_NAME release criterion. If you are doing release validation testing, a failure of this test case may be a breach of that release criterion. If so, please file a bug and nominate it as blocking the appropriate milestone, using the blocker bug nomination page.

Description

This test case tests whether any automatic error catching systems report errors in a typical system boot.

Boot a clean live image of the Fedora version you wish to test
Note whether any errors are reported by the default automatic error reporting tools (as of Fedora 14, these are abrt and SELinux's setroubleshoot)
Perform a default installation from the live image (changing no options and entering typical information into free text fields)
Boot the installed system and again check whether there are any errors reported by automatic tools
Install from a DVD image of the Fedora version you wish to test, completely replacing the previous installation
Boot the installed system and check once more for errors reported by automatic tools

No errors should be reported by automatic error checking tools whether booting live, booting a system installed from a live image, or booting a system installed from the DVD image
