Ask Fedora is a community knowledge base and wiki and designed to be the primary place for community support in Fedora.  It is powered by [[Askbot]].  Rahul Sundaram has explained the history of the project [https://mether.wordpress.com/2011/07/16/the-case-for-ask-fedora/ here].  We are currently running a [http://ask.stg.fedoraproject.org/questions/ staging instance] for your feedback.  Ask Fedora will have a soft launch by end of September and will do a full launch in sync with Fedora 16 release schedule.

Rahul Sundaram initiated a earlier effort for developers to directly answer user questions as part of the Fedora Weekly News.  This effort didn't scale and is now defunct

Fedora Forum]  and [https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list fedora-list]  but have you always wanted to ask a question to Fedora developers but weren't sure whom to ask? A new feature for the next release of Fedora? Any big picture questions of general interest to Fedora users?
If so, we have just the right solution for you. Send your questions to askfedora@fedoraproject.org and [[NewsProject |Fedora News Team]] will bring you answers from the right places to selected number of questions every week as part of our weekly news report. Please indicate

Ask Fedora is a community knowledge base and wiki and designed to be the primary place for community support in Fedora. It is powered by Askbot.
