Revision as of 14:21, 6 November 2014
The Fedora Activity Day (FAD) is a regional event (either one-day or a multi-day) that allows Fedora contributors to gather together in order to work on specific tasks related to the Fedora Project.
What is a FAD like?
There are various types of FADs that recur from time to time. A partial list is below, meant to offer an idea for the flavor of what a FAD can be.
- Ambassadors FAD -- a good example is FAD EMEA 2009.
- FUDCon Planning FADs -- see FUDCon to learn how these FADs fit into the FUDCon planning process.
- Technical FAD -- a good example is the Fedora Development Cycle FAD.
- Sub-project FAD -- a good example is the Fedora Documentation FAD held at Southest Linux Fest.
Upcoming FADs
See Premier Fedora Events for the calendar of upcoming FADs and FUDCons.
Organizing a FAD
For organizers, we have an information page with tips on how to plan a FAD.
