Joining the SIG
If you're interested in helping with Fedora SIGs/DotNet, please complete the following steps to become a member.
First Steps
- First you will need to read through and understand how to be a successful contributor.
- Next you will need to create a Fedora Account:
- This account will be used for just about everything you do as a member of the Fedora Community
- You will need it to sign the FPCA which is required to contribute to the Fedora Community
Self-introduction
- Send self-introduction to our mailing list
- Are you new to contributing to Fedora? If so, tell us why are you interested in contributing to Fedora or what interests you about the Project.
- Already a contributor? Share what other areas of Fedora you are working in and your role in the Project.
- What's your background and experience with dotnet?
- How can we help YOU get started?
- Your IRC handle
- Join our IRC channel #fedora-dotnet[?]
- What's this?
- Beginner's Guide to IRC
- Attend one of our SIGs/DotNet#Meetings Weekly Meetings and present yourself
Join the FAS group
- When that's done, apply for the FAS group
- This one! (Note that it will be accepted only after we get to know you.)
Edit the Wiki
- Create your own user page if you don't have one yet. (Feel free to check our other members for example.)
- Add yourself to the list of members on SIGs/DotNet.
