In parallel to my Fedora contributions within the Fedora project I did a lot of work for one of the most used 3rd-party add-on package repository for Fedora; later I helped getting this repo merged with two others to form the the most well known and still mostly widely used add-on repository for Fedora.

These days mostly inactive in Fedora due to time constrains; I'm maintaining just a few Fedora packages that I need for work and maintain [[Kernel_Vanilla_Repositories|repositories with Fedora packages that contain vanilla Linux kernel's]].
Over time my focus shifted more and more work in the area of the Linux kernel. That's why these days I'm maintaining just a few packages of Fedora Linux and maintain [[Kernel_Vanilla_Repositories|add-on repositories serving Fedora packages containing vanilla Linux kernels]].

I'm still keeping a eye on some of the Fedora lists, but not as closely as I used to; so if there is anything Fedora-related you want to know from me or if you need my help with something then better CC me.

I was on the first Fedora Engineering/Extras Steering Committee (FESCo) and served as a chairman for the second, but had to step down due to conflicting interests with my day job when Fedora Core and Extras merged. I later was much praised for my work by former Fedora project leader Greg DeKoenigsberg.

After my work on Fedora Linux, I helped getting the EPEL effort running and served as the EPEL Steering Committee chairmen till February 2008.

In parallel to my Fedora contributions within the Fedora project I did a lot of work for one of the most used 3rd-party add-on package repository for Fedora. Later I helped getting this repo merged with two others to form RPM Fusion, where I acted as key maintainer for several years; this repo still is the mostly widely used add-on repository for Fedora.

Over time my focus shifted more and more work in the area of the Linux kernel. That's why these days I'm maintaining just a few packages of Fedora Linux and maintain add-on repositories serving Fedora packages containing vanilla Linux kernels.

I'm still keeping a eye on some of the Fedora lists, but not as closely as I used to; so if there is anything Fedora-related you want to know from me or if you need my help with something better CC me.
