Planning

We are working simultaneously in 2 threads:

  1. Packages
  2. Working ISO

Packages

  1. Finish the curated list that will be part of the i3-minimal package group.
  2. Check if packages are actively maintained and the policies around the selected packages (e.g. copr are a "NOT").
  3. If a package is not maintained, take it as group to maintain it. Ask for guidance to the active packagers of the group.
  4. Finish the curated list that will be part of the i3-extended package group. Stick to one package per function, e.g one terminal emulator, one browser,
  5. Repeat 2 and 3 for this package group.
  6. Create the package groups.

Working ISO

nasirhm have been working in an ISO, that is based on the XFCE, so next steps for the ISO should be:

  1. Decide the test matrix to be run.
  2. Test the RC iso against the decided matrix.
  3. If pass then pass the ISO to QA.
