QA:Testcase Power Management personal

Description

This test case helps you generate and upload workload results for power measurements.

How to test

1. Ensure powertop is installed
2. Ensure you have reported your system information to Smolt according to these instructions
3. Reboot the system
4. Login in with your normal user
5. Open a terminal window and run

   powertop -d -t 600 > powertop_myresults.txt

6. Work normally with your machine for the next 10 minutes

Expected Results

1. The output of the powertop dump saved in

   powertop_myresults.txt
