Circuit_Design

kicad

kicad has not been updated for Fedora in some time. Fedora 12 includes the latest version of kicad which incorporates a huge number of minor bug fixes and usability improvements. xcircuit

xcircuit has been updated to version 3.6. The application now handles multiple schematic windows and has been expanded to allow handling of larger projects. Libraries are now arranged according to "Technology Prefixes". To learn more about these improvements please refer to the release notes at http://opencircuitdesign.com/xcircuit/.

xlog

In addition to a number of bug fixes, xlog now includes a feature to ease handling of unknown countries. When "Tools -> Find unknown countries" is selected, xlog will show a list of contacts for which DXCC lookup fails. You can then correct this by using a "DXCC-" string in the awards column.
