Description

This package provides some capabilities that are described here. Additionally, it does some other fancy stuff. Its most common use is something-or-other. This paragraph mostly comes from rpm -qi packagex, but includes some extra info.

Actions

1. Install packagex

yum install packagex  

1. Configure packagex Add the following to /etc/packagex.conf:

#!python
...
setAwesomeMode On   

1. Start packagex service

chkconfig packagex on
service packagex start   

1. Run packagex client program

packagex-client --verbose --dostuff localhost  

Expected results

1. packagex-client --dostuff should run successfully. 1. Stuff should be done properly. 1. Computer does not catch fire.
