Description
This install verifies that installing using an NFS installation source that contains the iso images works. See Anaconda/Options for information on supported boot options.
How to test
- Boot the installer using any available means
- Direct anaconda to use NFS as the installation type by using any method below:
- Specify on the boot commandline:
repo=nfsiso[:options]:<server>:/<path>
- Add the boot command:
askmethod
- Choose NFS directory as Installation method when prompted.
- Provide a nfs server and path to where your CDROM or DVD iso images are stored
- Specify on the boot commandline:
- Proceed with installation
Expected Results
- Anaconda uses NFS server and path as directed
- Install completes successfully
- Package errors (install.log) should not occur
- System boots successfully
