I´m a Brazilian guy interested in the OpenSource and GNU/Linux projects.
I think the open source project is great
because allows to people of all the world have access to a good operating system for free.
Working in the community, with the cooperation of everyone is possible increase the quality of software developed.
This is very important.
My first contact with Linux was in 2001, I thought it was very difficult to work with this system.
Until I bought my computer. I installed a proprietary system, I got tired of it, then i formatted the hard drive and
I was changing distribution in distribution, to find the system that run perfectly on my computer.
This system was Fedora 13.
I have no trouble detecting my modem, or any hardware.
