FIG Job Description: sysadmin-cvs
Members of sysadmin-cvs will be tasked with maintaining the SCM repositories for the Infrastructure team. Members of sysadmin-cvs maintain all SCM hosts and services including the lookaside cache.
Level of commitment
Average 4 hours per week
Expected duties
- Creating SCM repos and branches
- Maintaining SCM repos and branches
- Troubleshoot remote access issues
- Working with package maintainers on SCM issues
- Handle SCM admin requests
Required skills
- Git repository expertise
- CVS repository expertise
- Experience with mid-level system administration tasks and troubleshooting (user / filesystem permissions, remote connectivity, etc)
