Description
This test case ensures the development release boots as a KVM guest in the latest stable release.
Setup
- Prepare a machine with the latest stable release (Fedora 41) installed
- Install
virt-manager
(or other tool to control KVM virtual machines)
How to test
- Create a virtual machine and boot the current development release in it (use
boot.iso
, PXE orDVD.iso
of Fedora 42)
Expected Results
- Graphical boot menu is displayed for users to select install options. Navigating the menu and selecting entries must work. If no option is selected, the installer should load after a reasonable timeout
- Installer boots into loader and prompts for language, keymap
- Installer transitions to anaconda without error
