DocsProject Wiki Reorganization
Schedule
The plan is to have this done in two weeks (1 April)
Overal structure
DocsProject 1. Join a. Writer a. Editor a. Translator a. Toolchain Builder 1. Goals & Mission 1. Schedule (includes the current FDSCo TaskSchedule) a. some pages with details (e.g. specific schedules on DUG, IG) 1. Tasks (considering all FDP related tasks and processes) a. Guides a. Relnotes a. Browser splash page a. Plone a. Ideas-page a. Release announcement (not sure if we should do this) 1. FDSCo (or steering committee) a. Charter a. Meeting minutes a. Elections a. Nominations 1. Workflow a. Docbook (how to write + intro) a. CVS (usage) a. Wiki (how to write) a. Publishing (web, PDF?) a. Tools 1. Various (for misc. stuff)
General items
Some stuff that really needs to happen in order of importance
1. Create a default template for all Docs-related pages on the wiki (breadcrumb, default header, ...) to create a common look-and-feel 1. Look at possibility of using redirects or edit all links to a certain page to reflect the change. 1. Enforce the usage of CategoryDocsProject & CategoryDocumentation on all pages
