Kickstart file
Our astronomy SIG goals to build two different kickstart files :
- One for the Live-CD, used for demonstration and installation.
- One for a persistent USB stick, for direct use and conservation of observation's data.
IRAF Cleaning
Due to license restrictions IRAF cannot be pushed into the Fedora repositories. One of our projects is to clean IRAF from his closed sourcecode and replace it with open-source code only.
Here are some tasks for beginning the project :
- Get in contact with the IRAF community.
- Clearly define what is to clean and how to replace it.
Skylive.it
Skylive is a software that allows registered people to control and take pictures with scopes all across the world.

We'd like to include this great project into Fedora, actual tasks are :
- Package PythonCard .
- Package pyfits
- It's done, currently in testing repo of F9
