Event Description
This page describes the Fedora Install Fest event that will happen (or happened, depending on the date you are visiting :-)) at UNICAMP, the public state university of Campinas, one of the best public universities in Brazil. It is important to emphasize that this will be a Fedora Install Fest, i.e., we will only install Fedora during the event.
This Install Fest will be a great opportunity to introduce the use and knowledge of Fedora to all students in the campus. The event will be opened only for students of computer courses at university, and we expect to see 20 to 30 people attending the event. The event is not scheduled yet, but it is possible that it will happen on March 20th, 2013, which means that there will be many newcomer students.
Despite the number of people attending (20 to 30, according to our estimates), we intend to distribute Fedora LiveCDs to all newcomer students of both computer science and engineer courses. Thus, the number of CDs we are requesting is bigger than the number of people attending the Install Fest.
