So far, it seems like Fedora is the one I've been looking for all the time.

Based on that, one of my goals as Fedora Ambassador is to keep speaking about FOSS but focusing more on the GNU/Linux distribution I use and enjoy using, which is Fedora.

I can speak English and Italian reasonably well, beside Portuguese which is my native tongue. Some basics of German and Russian are among the languages I try to learn, so I can also help translating stuff.

* Coding and packaging
I'm right now involved in a personal project which is mostly written in ShellScript. I know other programming languages too so I might also get involved in the development of some tool for Fedora.
I'm looking forward to my vacations so that I will have some spare time to learn how to package and who knows I'll become a packager too :)

RPMing software could also be a thing I'd enjoy doing :)

About Me

I'm a Computer Engineering student at UFRN and an undergraduate researcher at LAIS, the Laboratory for Technological Innovation in Healthcare.

I'm involved with Free Software and GNU/Linux for almost a decade and have contributed with some Free Software projects along the way. I have been trying a few GNU/Linux distributions but hadn't got the feeling of completeness.

So far, it seems like Fedora is the one I've been looking for all the time. Its free software policy, community, usability and so many things amaze me in a way I could not believe at first sight. It's like I've been a blue hat all the time without knowing :P

How I support Fedora

  • Talks

I have given talks on Free, Libre and Open Source Software since 2007. During this time, I had the pleasant opportunity to speak to hundreds of people in several Federal Universities in Brazil like UFPE, UFC and UFRN beside several community events.

Based on that, one of my goals as Fedora Ambassador is to keep speaking about FLOSS, but focusing more on the GNU/Linux distribution I use and support, which is Fedora.

  • Translation

I can speak English and Italian reasonably well, beside Portuguese, which is my native tongue. I have attempted to learn German and Russian in the past, but most of these languages just vanished from my memories. As Fedora Translator, I translate Fedora into Brazilian Portuguese.

  • Coding and packaging

I'm looking forward to my vacations so that I will have some spare time to learn how to package and who knows I'll become a packager too :)
