Description
This test case tests the installer's ability to use the anaconda recommended partition defaults with disk containing enough free space, but also other partitions.
Setup
- Start with a disk containing some partition(s) and enough free space to install Fedora
How to test
- Boot the installer using any available means
- Select the appropriate disk
- As in the text mode, you should choose option of using the free space for the Autopartitioning Options
- Make sure your disk is not set to be encrypted
- Continue installation with choosing all provided defaults,
- complete the install
Expected Results
- The system should install successfully
- After install, the system initiates boot properly
- The existing partitions were not modified, the system is installed only into the previously free space
