Foundries listed there all contribute in a major way to the free/libre fonts commons. We thank them all with all our heart. (Some people will claim those are not foundries. They're organisations that create fonts. That makes them foundries for us).

  • The STIX project has embarked in a multi-year effort to codify mathematics in Unicode and publish the resulting font. This epic feat is described in this TUG presentation.

The Fonts SIG takes loving care of Fedora fonts. Please join this special interest group if you are interested in creating, improving, packaging, or just suggesting a font. Any help will be appreciated.
