Who are we and what we do?

G11n is collaboration effort from different operating groups in Fedora. The main focus is to coordinate and support community in i18n, l10n and Zanata area to provide effective workflow on Globalisation for Fedora project.

The group members consists of representatives from i18n, l10n and Zanata. We welcome anyone who are interested as well.

Software Globalization is huge domain. Each domain include its peculiarity and jargon's. We have sub-divided each domain as following and more information available in respective wiki pages.

Localization

Localization is more suitable for contributors having any regional language knowledge. It is recommended way to start contributing to Fedora as a translator. Since new contributor know about his language and he just need to learn process in Fedora project. Once he is more familiar with Fedora he can start looking in other opportunities.
