| People often debate between using Fedora and Ubuntu as their choice of Linux OS.

| Why should one choose Fedora over Ubuntu? This is a question which is more of a rhetorical question with no definitive answer in sight. In my perspective, Fedora is better than Ubuntu because it has a long developmental history from scratch as opposed to Ubuntu which is a ''''offshoot'''' of '''Debian''' distribution.

| However the same history kind of bogs Fedora down with hard core supportes refuse to even look at change let alone embrace it. On top of it, the user friendliness of Ubuntu is legendary which is perhaps second only to Micro$oft Window$. The Fedora community needs to understand that in order to make Linux a distribution of choice, the subsequent upgrade (which are far to frequent for my liking) should not be destructive. There should be cumulative updates to features which are then rolled up as integral part of the next distribution. Some might think that this kind of sounds like Micro$oft '''Service Pack''' philosophy. In a way it is. We don't have to reject everything that Micro$oft does. There are some good things that we can pick up and integrate into our product to make it better.
