General Info
Alex Scheel is presently employed at Canonical Ltd., working on Compliance and Certifications for the Ubuntu Advantage ecosystem.
Alex was formerly employed at Red Hat, Inc., working on the Red Hat Certificate System product (upstream: Dogtag PKI).
Alex contributes to many ecosystems, including Dogtag PKI, FreeIPA, NSS, OpenSCAP, ComplianceAsCode, Kerberos (including gssproxy and python-gssapi), among many others.
Alex also contributes to packaging in Fedora, at one point co-maintaining Dogtag PKI, contributing to the Stewardship and Java Maintenance SIGs and related Java ecosystem, python-nss, and FreeRADIUS.
When not contributing to open source, he likes to play the violin and photograph the world.
