Description
This test cases covers update notification by Gnome Software
Setup
- Ensure that GNOME Software is installed, and launch it.
How to test
- Gnome Software's Top right corner has Update Preference
- Select the option you are comfortable with
- Test if the updates notification is being delivered
- Try putting yourself on DND mode and check if the notification still pops
- Try downgrading a package and checking if the Gnome Software automatically downloads or prompts
Expected Results
- You should be able to search do all the above options successfully
- The user update notification mechanism shouldn't be violated
