Description

Test GNOME Maps application.

Setup

  1. Ensure that GNOME Maps (package gnome-maps) is installed.
  2. In Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services, make sure Location Services are enabled.

How to test

  1. Start Maps or run gnome-maps command
  2. Move around the map, zoom in and out.
  3. Locate yourself with the "Go to current location" button.
  4. Search for places near you and also very far from you.
  5. Plan a route between your favourite places using car, bike and walking.
  6. Perform some additional Exploratory testing.

Expected Results

  1. Map should render correctly, there are no glitches in map rendering.
  2. All actions should behave as expected.
  3. Please report all failures to the GNOME tracker.
