Connecting to a Minetest Server

To connect to a Minetest server, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Download and Install Minetest

  • For Fedora Workstation:
 * Open the 'Software Center'.
 * Search for 'Minetest'.
 * Click 'Install' to download and install the game.
  • For Windows, macOS, and Linux (non-Fedora):
 * Navigate to Minetest Downloads.
 * Select the version suitable for your operating system.
 * Follow the installation instructions provided on the website.


Step 2: Launch Minetest

  • Open the Minetest application on your computer.

Step 3: Selecting a Server

  • On the main menu, click on 'Join Game'.
  • You will see a list of available servers.

Step 4: Connect to the Server

  • Server: mine.fedorainfracloud.org
  • Port: 30000
  • Username: FAS is preferred, but not required
  • Password: There is a default password for new users you can use, but since this is not linked and for now, please request it in the event or contact User:Bookwar FAS: Bookwar.

Additional Information
