Description

The feature covers the ibus-chewing to provide Traditional Chinese chewing input.

Setup

Follow up to the steps in QA:Testcase i18n input method setup to configure the input method on the desktop in general.

  1. Add an input source which has (Chewing) or (新酷音) in the name.

How to test

  1. Get some test Traditional Chinese sentences, try to input it under "Chewing", to see whether the "Chewing" can input the sentence correctly.
    • Type "ru cjo4gl yj/4ru6g4" should display "機會稍縱即逝"
  2. Test if ibus-chewing preferences works
    • On GNOME, open Settings > Keyboard > Input Sources > Chinese (Chewing) > Preferences
    • On other Desktop, open ibus-setup to configure Chewing
  3. Configure "Keyboard Type" to "Hanyu Pinyin" and "Conversion Engine" to "Fuzzy Chewing"
    • Type "ji hui shao zong ji shi" or "ji hui4 shao zong4 ji2 shi4" should display "機會稍縱即逝"

Expected Results
