Description
A complete installation using a RAID device for the / (rootfs) filesystem. The previous state of the disk partitions should contain a legacy RAID installation.
Setup
- Perform a manual install with the GUI or text UI installer, using RAID during partitioning (the initial, legacy system)
How to test
- Boot the webui-based installer using any available means. Currently, that means using the Workstation live image and selecting "Install to Disk..." at the end of the initial setup process.
- On the first screen of the installer, click "Mount point assignment", then click Next.
- Select the appropriate existing "device" for each required mount point: the existing RAID device for /, the existing /boot partition for /boot, and the existing devices for any boot partitions that must be mounted (e.g. /boot/efi). Ensure "Reformat" IS set for all of these mount points.
Expected Results
- Anaconda completes successfully
- Reboot successfully into installed system
- / is on a RAID volume (e.g. /dev/md0)
