Greetings from Mauritius,
Hi, my name is Codarren Velvindron. I live on the beautiful island of Mauritius.
I contribute to a variety of open-source projects. In particular, I am interested in improving the security of GNU/Linux in cloud environments.
My contributions include: - Adding LIBRESSL support out of the box to the Linux Kernel. [https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/dhowells/linux-fs.git/commit/?h=keys-next&id=ab0299a422b62e7c16dc481daeeca6aacddd7f44 ] - Tarsnap - secure cloud storage provider - [https://github.com/codarrenvelvindron/tarsnap/commit/87856972ec49fa5f4b74304b3a8c4578ea1fb06e ] - Bash completion Module for IPSET [https://github.com/codarrenvelvindron/ipset_bash_completion ] amongst other fun ongoing projects.
I am interested in Fedora because, Redhat Enterprise Linux is a strong choice for cloud providers. I have been using Fedora as my main distro on my personal laptop.
I have always been amazed to see how easy it is to get something done on Fedora and still learning a lot of things from my everyday use of fedora. A little blog post I have done on fedora: http://devildron.blogspot.com/2016/02/my-new-mission-cloud-on-fedora-core-23.html
With Fedora, I feel that everything that I discover, and yet I am still scratching the surface. I am looking forward to make a few contributions of my own to Fedora.
