08-09	Recruit Beat Writers	Recruit new writers for any orphaned beats	Plan is to post requests to dev list, blog. Then email potential candidates for specific beats discovered by mining review requests. Some beats may be tame enough, or have no features, so they may be left vacant. (8/3 - Posts to Facebook, Multiply Linux group - --McD) (8/6 - Blog to Planet --McD)
08-12	Comb feature pages alpha RNs	Go through feature pages merging highlights into beats	Ultimately select the few features to highlight in the one-page of alpha ( Nathan Thomas provided a draft 12-Aug) (--McD Provided updated tech notes to mine)
08-16	Alpha announcement	Work with marketing to generate alpha announcement	( Nathan Thomas provided a draft 12-Aug) ( Robyn Bergeron and stickster reviewed 19-Aug)
08-20	Alpha one-page	Create single page release notes for alpha	( Nathan Thomas had this largely complete by 8/15. On 8/22, the day before release jjmcd removed the "draft" admonition.)
09-01	Write unclaimed beats		Perhaps a beta release notes party?
09-01	Remind L10N Beta POTs
09-01	Remind dev wiki freeze	Wiki freeze for beta is Sep 6. Remind Dev the window is closing	Invariably, some developer or another is disappointed that nothing about his app made in into the release notes and the wiki froze by surprise.
09-02	Start nightly POTs		Started 09-06 --McD (didn't make much sense to start this before the wiki conversion was done)
09-07	Port wiki to Publican		This will probably be mostly scripted. Later conversions will be mostly manual, but this first conversion generally benefits from the automation. Done 09-06 --McD
09-15	f-r-n.rpm to updates-candidate		Needed some time before docs.fp.o so ready for beta compose - Done --McD
09-27	Beta RNs to docs.fp.o
09-27	Remind dev wiki freeze		Done --McD
10-06	Remind L10N no more POTs	On Oct 4, last POTs will go to L10N so no more source updates
10-11	Wiki updates to Publican
10-11	GA final POTs
10-12	Build GA htmls until 11-Oct		Most likely this is a continuation. Drafts should have been being build automatically on a regular basis
10-14	Remind L10N trans deadline		On 11-Oct we will begin building the release RPM so any translations not ready by then will not make it to GA
