Questions to answer
Why do you want to work with the Fedora Project?
I have used Fedora as my main OS for quite some time. Previously I did not have the necessary skills to contribute to the development section of the community. Now that I have acquired the necessary knowledge, I feel that I should give back to the Fedora family.
Do you have any past involvement with the Fedora Project or another open-source project as a contributor?
I have briefly participated in testing of Fedora alpha/beta releases and bug triaging in the bugzilla.
Have you participated in GSoC in the past? If so, what year(s) and which organization(s)?
No, I have never participated in GSoC.
Do you plan to continue contributing to the Fedora Project after GSoC? If yes, what sub-project(s) are you interested with?
If I successfully complete my internship with Fedora, I' plan on either continuing working on the Hubs project, or start working on Anaconda. (If the community ever needs an Android application, I will be able to participate in its development)
Why should we choose you over other applicants?
I can offer a modest but broad range of skills, with willingness to learn everything necessary in short amounts of time. I have knowledge of Python (through personal projects, mostly related to machine learning), and a Java/Android development background. However, accomplishing tasks outside of these scopes will not be an issue. The Hubs project is of special interest to me, because I believe it will be an effective method to attract application developers to the platform. The Fedora project and community matter a lot to me, and I hope to do my best to give back to the users and developers.
