This page is intended to record Fedora 10 Install test results for the Beta milestone.
The page is divided up by architecture, please be sure to record the appropriate test result with the corresponding architecture.
If you would like to suggest a test case to add to this page, please don't hesitate to do so, or send questions to fedora-test-list.
Notes
- See QA/TestResults/Fedora10Install/Alpha for Alpha results.
- The installer will take a while checking each optical drive for installation media. This is due to a kernel bug detecting drive status.
- Plymouth has replaced RHGB for boot feedback. Systems without graphical consoles will see a simple text-mode progress bar. You can press Escape (or remove
rhgbfrom the commandline) to see the boot messages, which are now logged to/var/log/boot.log. See Features/BetterStartup for details.- VNC and text-mode installs (which start in runlevel 3 by default) will get stuck in Plymouth when the firstboot service starts. Press Esc to show firstboot and Tab over to "Quit" to complete system startup. This will be fixed post-Beta.
