QA:Testcase Install to VirtualBox

Description

This test case tests whether the development release can boot and install inside a VirtualBox virtual machine. Fedora cannot and does not guarantee that this will be the case; this test is purely informational (it helps us at least know whether we're working on VirtualBox, and document the problems if not). Failures of this test should only be reported as Fedora bugs if you are sure the fault lies with Fedora and not VirtualBox.

Setup

1. Install VirtualBox on your host (the host can be Fedora, another Linux distribution, Windows, or macOS). The procedure for this is outside the scope of this test case

How to test

1. Create a VirtualBox virtual machine and boot the release to be tested in it (it is probably best to use one of the release-blocking images, e.g. Workstation live). This can be accomplished using the virt-install command or by using the graphical utility virt-manager
2. Proceed with normal installation (refer to QA:Testcase_Boot_default_install)

Expected Results

1. The installer successfully boots
2. The installer is able to activate and use the virtual network device(s)
3. The installer is able to activate and use the virtual storage device(s)
4. The install completes successfully
5. The system reboots successfully, recognizing filesystems created on the virt device(s)
